We exchanged vows in the Fairy Glen, on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The Fairy Glen is a hidden area in the hills East of Uig. While difficult to spot from the single lane road leading there, up over the hills one finds a truly magical place. The Ceremony was around 1pm at the base of a waterfall. Sonja Eckl-Riel performed a traditional Celtic ceremony and we wrote our own vows. Lea Macleod played the bagpipes as we walked in and throughout the ceremony.
"May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again may you be held with Love. May you be poor in misfortune. Rich in blessing. May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home. And may the hand of a friend always be near. May green be the grass you walk on. May blue be the skies above you. May pure be the joys that surround you. May true be the hearts that love you."

Quaich Ritual: We poured whiskey from individual cups into the Quaich and then helped one another drink from it symbolizing our unity. And fortunately no spillage.
Handfasting Ritual: Otherwise known as tying the knot.
